I am here to tell you about a young man that became and still to this day one of the biggest influences in rock history. William Bruce Rose Jr. (raised as William Bruce Bailey) was born in Laffayette, Indiana, U.S, on February 6, 1962 .
Who we know now as W. Axl Rose has lived a large majority of his life in Los Angeles, California, moving to L.A. in his early 20's.
Axl is the lead vocalist And only remaining original member of the hard rock band "Guns N' Roses," (originally consisting of W.Axl Rose, Saul "Slash" Hudson, Michael Andrew "Duff" Mckagan, Steven Adler and Izzy Strandlin) formed in 1985, although his career started out in 1983 when he joined the band "Rapidfire," shortly after his arrival in LA. After this he joined the first line up of "L.A. Guns," before forming the band "Hollywood Rose" with his childhood friend Izzy Strandlin. In June 1985, Axl and former band mate Tracii Guns merged the two bands "L.A. Guns" and "Hollywood Rose" to form "Guns N' Roses."

Guns N' Roses after splitting up in 1997 re-emerged with their new line up in 1999;
W. Axl Rose, Dizzy Reed, Tommy Stinson, Richard Fortus, Chris Pitman, Frank Ferrer, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and DJ Ashba make what we know as "Guns N' Roses today.

I have a confession

For so long I was completelly and uterly obsessed with Gn’R, 24 hours a day they were on my mind to be honest.
I needed some kind of balance, I needed a more diverse music love.
Therefore, I now love Guns N’ Roses and RHCP on an equal level.

I have liked RHCP for a ages, but hadn’t yet dived further into the depths of their musical soup. So now instead of listening to Gn’R all the time, I am exploring the wild beats of the magnificent Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Nothing will ever change the love I have for Gn’R, but I am currently cheating on Axl a little with Anthony.
I appologize.
